While the timer is running all the buttons are greyd out except the "STOP" button. Thus only the important information is kept on screen and all the distractions are taken away.
"START" and "STOP" button are disabled as long as time from picker is not selected
User notifications
While the timer is running, user can still use the phone for other tasks or lock the screen as the timer will be running in the background and once the time is up application will notify the user with notification.*
* Notifications might play sound , also give haptic feedback to user and show popups.
User Agreement
Inorder to notify user once the time is up, application will ask user permission to show notifications. This is asked only once when the timer is started for the very first time.
Progress is clearly indicated with Progress Bar
To help you to focus on what is important there is green progress bar and the time counter with the time left for current selection in the middle of the screen. The progress bar color is green to clearly visualize the progress of the current period.
